eVetPractice Bundled Pricing Packages FAQs

This article provides additional information around the recently released eVetPractice pricing tiers, and how it affects existing customers. 

 In our effort to continuously support you with the best technology and services available, we’re excited to share that Covetrus is launching an innovative new approach to veterinary practice management. 

Starting February 16, eVetPractice software will be offered in three bundled packages, each designed to connect your practice to a world of opportunity with the Covetrus integrated solutions platform. You don’t need to do anything to continue with your current subscription and retain all the same great features and functionality you rely on every day. 

If I am a current user of eVetPractice, does this mean my prices are going up?

No. These packages are only being made available to new customers of eVetPractice.  Current customers will see no changes in their pricing, and will continue to enjoy all of the features and functionality that eVetPractice offers. 

If a current customer would like to take advantage of these packages, we do have a method for doing this.  This consists of cancelling your current eVetPractice (and perhaps other Covetrus supplied technology) contracts and signing up for the new packages. At some time in the future we will be looking at options that allow our current customers to move to these types of packages over time, with discounts and special pricing reserved for our existing customers. The intention is to be transparent and simple. 

While we hope that customers will take advantage of the significant savings and value that the packages offer, we do understand that customers may choose to just purchase the various versions of eVetPractice.  We will continue to make this option available.

Why is Covetrus releasing these packages?

When Covetrus was formed, a key part of our vision was to bring a variety of technologies together to help our clients run their practices more efficiently and profitably.  This is something that none of the others in the market could offer. 

These packages are one of the first steps in realizing that vision.  We are packaging together all of the key technologies (Practice Management, Client Communications, Credit Card Processing, Prescription Management, integrations with labs and other technologies, and Intelligent Inventory Management), with the training and support needed for them to be successful, into simple to purchase packages.

While we hope that customers will take advantage of the significant savings and value that the packages offer, we do understand that customers may choose to just purchase the various versions of eVetPractice.  We will continue to make this option available to those customers.

When will these packages be released?

Covetrus did an initial limited release at the VMX tradeshow (January 18th) in Orlando.  Covetrus will do a full public release to all our customers and the market in general at the WVC conference in Las Vegas – February 16-19. 

 

If I am interested in some of what is offered in the packages, but do not want everything, can I pick and choose what I include?

The purpose of our packages is to deliver the greatest value to our customers at the best possible price.  We are only allowing the customers a limited ability to pick and choose what they do and don’t include in a specific package. 

Our sales team has comparison sheets that show what it would cost if you were to buy individual products vs buying the package and they would be happy to walk you through that comparison.
